Bishop Terrance Fitzgerald Trammell was born February 2nd in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Mrs. Lucy Burton Trammell and the late Rev. William Charles Trammell.  His Father, Rev. W. C. Trammell transitioned early on in Bishop Trammell’s life, which left him and his five siblings to be raised by their Mother, who believed, …”it takes a village to raise a child.”

At the tender age of 8 years old, Terrance confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  In 1982, Terrance graduated from Southwood High School in Shreveport, La.  After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served for four years.

Under the tutelage of the late Dr. Murphy Lee Hunt, Bishop Trammell at the age of 21 accepted his calling to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For 13 years after accepting his calling, Bishop Trammell sat under Dr. Hunt’s teachings and instructions where he served as a member and Associate Minister of Children’s Church for Morning Star Baptist Church, Shreveport.

Bishop Trammell received his license to preach in April 1985 and was ordained April 1990.  He received his Bachelors of Arts Degree from the Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary and his Master’s Degree in Theology from Greenwood Acres Christian College.

Bishop Trammell is a significant voice for the Kingdom of God and has served as Pastor/Teacher of The Light Christian Church for approximately 21 years.  His opportunities for evangelism are never ending as he tirelessly serves as the Director of the Salvation Army Merkel Center of Hope – Homeless Shelter.

In July 2016 Bishop Trammell was consecrated Bishop through Greater Highway Deliverance Ministries by Bishop Liston Page, Sr. who serves as Prelate. He was recently appointed to serve as Bishop over the Men’s Ministry for Greater Highway Ministries of Harlem, New York.

He is married to Elder Anna Trammell and together they have a blended family of five children, Derrell, Ebony, DeMarcus, Jared, and William.  Bishop Trammell also has four grandchildren who lovingly call him “Papaw.”

Bishop Trammell is truly an on Fire Anointed Man of God who loves God, loves the people of God and stands on the Word of God.  His favorite Scripture is Isaiah 26:3 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
